Michelle you ignorant, baby-factory, 80’s haired moron. You can fit all of the world’s population in Jacksonville Florida? Big Fucking deal! You can also put 20 clowns in a VW Bug but I doubt they could live there. “The idea of overpopulation is not accurate,” based on what? Let me ask you something AquaNet, Do you know how much land it takes to feed a single person for a year? Even the most conservative estimates say it takes at least, AT LEAST, one acre per PERSON! And that’s only enough for you to sustain life on a staple like soy beans or potatoes. If you want meat then there’s another 5.
I realize with 19 (just typing that boils up my blood) “precious miracles” you don’t get out much. However, maybe while your oldest kids are out running around chaperoning your teenagers sock hops, maybe pick up a news paper (if she believes any of this shit then I doubt she knows the internet exists). Perhaps then you would see there is an almost constant shortage of grain in half the countries around the world. Not so much a problem here in the states, but the poorer the country, the more likely they are starving. But by all means, have more kids because “The world needs more joy”! Yes, I imagine these women being raped in Africa, giving birth to babies with AIDS are feeling full of joy and merriment knowing their child will die before age 2. Or, how about the streets of India, where children are sent out into the streets to beg for rupies. They must be overjoyed at the fact they cannot feed themselves, but HURRAY another GD baby!
So, Michelle Duggar. For the sake of humanity, close you god-damned legs, shut your ignorant, vapid, word hole and stop acting like having a kid makes you some sort of expert on ANYTHING!
Please, feel free to drop a comment below or hit me up via email. I welcome all comments even if you disagree. Peace out.

April 18th, 2012 at 5:51 pmI am an atheist who is nrlsopaley familiar with the Duggar family (I watch the show, but that is not how I know them). I do not share their beliefs, and would not want such a large family myself, but I totally respect their right to believe that children are gifts from God. The Duggar children are all happy and healthy, and understand that everyone in the family must pitch in as a team and help each other. The older kids (boys included) LOVE their younger siblings and are EAGER to help and play with them. There is none of the selfish whining and back-biting so prevalent in smaller families, because Jim Bob and Michelle are right there with them, ALL DAY, EVERYDAY, gently teaching them that such behavior is not acceptable or fruitful. The kids spend MORE time with their parents than MOST American kids, who spend 8 hours a day with a babysitter and/or teacher and 20+ unrelated students, before riding the bus to an empty home or distracted working parents. The Duggar kids all have individual interests and personalities, and are learning critical life skills that a LOT of Americans with few siblings are NOT taught how to take care of themselves, children, homes, emergencies, etc. Their brains aren’t sedated by sitting in front of the TV or video games all day. They help their community. The show originally came about because nosy strangers were constantly approaching, ogling and asking questions about them. It was easier, and safer for the family, to answer frequent questions ONCE in front of a camera. The production crew is there only a few partial days per week, and they are like extended family members. It’s normal to the Duggars to have them there, just as it’s normal for other families to have a parent or uncle taking photos and videos weekly and posting them on Facebook or sharing with friends. What you see on the show is several hours edited down to 30 minutes each week. YOU don’t get to see the many hours that the parents spend with the younger kids everyday because it’s generally more interesting and unusual to watch older children interacting with younger siblings. The Duggars were DEBT-FREE long BEFORE they had the TV show. They are NOT receiving any kind of government assistance (unlike many smaller families). They invested in rental properties that they maintain themselves, save money by buying clothing and other items used, repair things when needed, and pass them down. They use LESS energy and have a SMALLER carbon footprint than many other families. They buy food and other products in bulk, which uses less packaging. They carpool EVERYWHERE, traveling in one or two vehicles, unlike the 7-8 vehicles that the corresponding 7-8 divorced/single parents with only 2 children would require. They are NOT creating an over-population problem millions of couples have no children it all balances out.Michelle’s last pregnancy ended prematurely because of complications exacerbated by her gall bladder issues, NOT because of her multiple pregnancies. Millions of women with 0-4 children develop pre-eclampsia. Josie is healthy today a normal toddler. NOBODY is guaranteed a long, healthy life. ANY parent could die at ANY minute, leaving his/her children behind. Car accident fatalities are more common than deaths due to pregnancy. Michelle’s kids are likely in much LESS danger of losing their mother than those whose mothers drive to work every morning.Historically (before birth control became legal and widely available) it was not unusual for women to be pregnant every 1-2 years. Deaths from malnutrition, illness, and childbirth without modern medical intervention prevented many families from becoming huge. If women’s bodies could not handle multiple pregnancies over 30 years, they would only be fertile once or twice per year instead of once per month. The average of 2.5 children per family is a modern societal standard, not a biological limit. It is more unnatural to limit pregnancies using artificial means than to have lots of children.I consider the Duggar family to be a huge inspiration, and think that most families with far fewer children could learn a lot from them. It’s really nobody’s business how many children they choose to have. One wonders why those who are so quick to judge the Duggars are spending so much time reading tabloids, and minding others’ business, instead of tending to the needs of their own children!

April 30th, 2012 at 8:25 amI appreciate your time in writing the response. However, you missed the point entirely. For someone who is on national Television to make statements so outrageous and based upon NO FACTS is irresponsible. Dumb people listen to this and take it as gospel. Stupid people are impressionable and the world needs, NEEDS, less people and more responsible reproduction. The one good thing about the Duggars I will say is they pay their own way and aren’t saddled down with welfare babies.
